What information is collected?
When you use our free check, project inquiry, or review order forms, we collect the name, email address, optional business details, website address, message, service selection, and applicable order information you provide. Technical security information such as rate-limit counters may also be processed.
Free website checks
To receive a free check, you provide your name, email address, website URL, and optionally a phone number. By submitting the form, you permit Veltar to store this information and contact you about the check and related website services. The contact details are saved to our private inquiry backend before we attempt the automated scan, including if the scan cannot be completed. We also retain the basic scan results or scan failure, your request for a follow-up (if selected), and campaign attribution where available. The results appear directly on the website; this form does not send them by email.
The check retrieves the publicly accessible homepage HTML of the domain you enter and reports only basic findings. It does not test search ranking or comprehensive SEO performance. No payment details are required. Scan requests are rate-limited to reduce abuse.
Why we use it
We use form information to assess requests, respond about services, administer orders, handle invoices and customer communication, and protect the website from abuse. Form submissions are stored in a private backend and are not sent through an email service from this website.
Payments
If Veltar enables online card payments for the review product, payment is completed on Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe handles payment information under its own terms and privacy policies. An invoice request does not collect payment.
Analytics
Veltar may use its own analytics service to understand website activity and improve the site. Configuration and data collection may vary according to applicable privacy requirements. Analytics data is separate from the information you intentionally enter into a form.
Storage, access, and retention
Submitted information is saved to server-side storage and is accessible to authorized administrators. Retention may depend on business needs, accounting records, disputes, and applicable law. We do not promise automatic deletion after a fixed period.
Sharing and requests
We do not sell inquiry-form information. We may share relevant information with service providers as needed to run the website, handle a payment, or comply with law. To request access, correction, or deletion where available under applicable law, use our contact form and identify the request. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate or legal reasons.
Security
We use administrative access controls and technical safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Do not send passwords, private client files, or payment card details through an inquiry form.
